The stylish Piaggio Liberty 125 offers riders the perfect combination of agility and reliability for carrying out delivery work. The bike’s large 16 inch front wheel helps it to navigate easily over uneven road surfaces and its top speed is just over 60mph.

The Liberty 125 has been available in the UK market since 2006, so there are plenty of opportunities to pick one up second hand if you don’t want to spend the money on a brand new bike, which costs roughly £2,400.

Honda SH125i

The Honda SH125i was first released in 2001 and has been a popular option for scooter delivery riders ever since. Thanks to its large wheels which make for safer riding, the SH125i is one of the most popular bikes across Europe.

In addition to this, it’s seat height and upright riding position make for great rider visibility. These great perks come at a cost, however, as the SH125i is on the more expensive end of the scale, as a brand new bike will set you back £2,850.

Honda Vision 110

With a smaller engine of 108cc and a lower price of around £2,400 for a brand new 2020 model, the Honda Vision 110 is a great choice for anybody looking to try their hand at delivery work.

The fuel tank of the Vision 110 is slightly smaller than some other models at 5.2 litres, but it makes up for this in its excellent fuel efficiency, covering up to 140 miles per gallon. At 102kg, it is a fairly light scooter, which makes it ideal for getting across town on deliveries.

Yamaha NMAX 125

The Yamaha NMAX 125 is a popular bike among riders who enjoy its sleek style and the feeling of power that its engine gives. It has a 6.6 litre fuel tank and includes anti-lock brakes as standard, which make it a great bike for travelling around the city from A to B.

The NMAX 125 comes with a generous amount of storage space under the seat, so it’s easy to keep your belongings safe and dry when you’re out on deliveries too. A brand new NMAX can cost upwards of £3,000, but it can work out cheaper to buy one second-hand.

Honda PCX 125

It’s no surprise to see the Honda PCX 125 at the top of our list of most popular vehicles. We know how highly delivery riders rate this bike, which is why we chose it as our prize when we gave away a free scooter a couple of years ago!

The PCX 125 is one of the most fuel-efficient bikes around, covering around 130 miles per gallon and it costs £2,999 brand new. With its reliability, 8 litre fuel tank and top speed of 67mph, it’s no wonder why it’s so popular among delivery riders.
