Insurance is one of the most important industries in the world and one of the least loved. It's complex and confusing. It doesn’t champion the customer.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Where we started

When the gig economy emerged, millions of drivers needed flexible insurance.

The industry said no. We said yes.

We built products no one else would: flexible, usage-based insurance designed for how people actually live and work. In doing so, we helped reshape how our customers earn a living.

What we built was always bigger than the gig economy.

The same technology and thinking now serve drivers right across the UK from businesses and everyday motorists to first-time and experienced drivers.

Anyone who wants insurance that reflects how they actually drive, not which box they fit into.

What we offer

Zego is a UK motor insurance provider for car drivers, van drivers, taxi drivers and delivery riders. We insure individual drivers, one policy at a time.
Car insurance. App-based telematics cover for everyday driving, with Rewards for good driving. Or a standard fixed price, if you’d rather nothing was monitored.

Van insurance. For tradespeople carrying their own goods, couriers carrying third-party goods, and everyday personal driving.

Taxi insurance. Private hire cover for Uber and Bolt drivers, and for independents.

Delivery insurance. Flexible cover for car and scooter riders working with Deliveroo, Just Eat, Uber Eats and Amazon Flex.

Learner driver insurance. Annual cover for provisional licence holders and their first car.

What we don’t offer

We sell to individual drivers, not to businesses insuring vehicles in bulk. We no longer offer fleet insurance. If you manage a fleet, we’re not the right insurer for you, and we’d rather say so than waste your time.
