If you have any questions about how Zego’s referrals work, you’ve come to the right place. Here are some FAQs about our referral system and how it works.
How much credit will I receive for referring a friend?
If your friend signs up to Zego using your referral code and takes out an insurance policy, both you and your friend will receive £10 Zego credit each.
When do I receive credit for sharing my referral code?
If your friend chooses Zego’s pay-as-you-go cover, you will receive your credit as soon as your friend has taken out their first shift with Zego.
If your friend purchases a daily, 7-day or 30-day policy, you will receive your credit as soon their purchase has been made.
If your friend purchases an annual policy, you will receive your credit once your friend has completed their cooling-off period. This usually 14 days after the policy begins.
When does my friend receive credit for signing up with my referral code?
If your friend takes out pay-as-you-go cover with Zego, they will receive their credit as soon as they have enabled their account.
If your friend purchases a 30-day or annual policy, they will receive their credit as money off their first policy.
What can I use my credit for?
You can use Zego credit towards your pay-as-you-go cover or to get money off the price of your next renewal.
Can I withdraw Zego credit?
Unfortunately, Zego credit cannot be withdrawn.
How many times can I share my code?
There is no limit to how many times you can share your code, so there’s no limit to how much Zego credit you can earn!
If you haven’t received credit that you were expecting, it’s a good idea to check if your friends have finished their sign-up before you get in touch.
You may have to wait up to 14 days to get your referral credit, but we’ll always be happy to help if you have any questions.
