To deliver food, you'll need Hire & Reward insurance in addition to your existing Social, Domestic and Pleasure policy. This level of cover provides protection for drivers who transport deliveries of food in return for payment.

No. Our Car Delivery insurance is strictly for deliveries only. Transporting fee-paying passengers is not covered.

We work with a number of delivery partners, ranging from food to parcel delivery. If you have a Pay As You Go and 30 Day H&R policy, drivers are only covered with the following work providers:

- GoGetters
- Vromo
- DeliveryApp
- Apache Pizza

If you have a 30 Day or Annual Combo policy, you can use your policy with any work provider. Don't worry if you don't see your work provider in the list above.

This depends on the type of cover you choose, plus a few other factors, like your driving history and no claims discount.

Pay-as-you-go
Our flexible hourly policy lets you pay for hire and reward (H&R) cover when you need it. It covers you for deliveries only, so you’ll need an existing personal (SD&P) policy to use it. On average, drivers with a good driving record can expect to pay from £0.80p per hour.


30-day
This is hassle-free cover without the long-term commitment. Expect to pay from £130 per month for hire and reward (H&R) only, and from £110 per month for our combined cover (H&R plus SD&P), which covers you for deliveries and personal driving.


Annual
This covers you for a whole year of delivery work and personal driving. It’s usually the most cost-effective option, especially if you plan to work full-time. Our combined annual cover starts from £1,110 per year.
